A lake at the site of where one of the demon knights has been sealed forever. The bridge leads to a large river over which many bamboo trees span a roof with long leafs. From the branches of them, countless charms with wishes written on them dangle. Why not join in and wish for something. Many say that this actually works... maybe the demon knights atonement?
This is a peace zone, no monster roams and no fight can ensue.
Wow, since R:3 they had really pumped up the graphics. Hell, Shiel wasn´t even sure if he was still in his real body anymore. It was the same feeling he had had when he had first played R:3. Laughing, he walked over to the small wooden bridge and listened to the night sounds and the rain that slowly soaked into his clothes. But it was one of these rains that is actually quite nice to feel. Just about the right wetness and not too cool or warm. As he stepped onto the bridge it creaked and bend a bit. Not caring anymore about if this was the real world or not, he just moved to the end and looked into the slowly flowing river. Right at his mirror image.
Smiling, he sat down and let his feet hang from the bridge, just inches away from the water. Leaning back, he wondered if this was really the place which had been written on at the BBS that made wishes come true. Well, certainly, quite a few charms and strips of paper with wishes on them were here, but if it would really make a wish come true? Not really minding that, he sighed and began delving into his mind wondering what he would do now that he was here, and alone as it was right now. Maybe it was really the wrong time, not many would be on right now, so maybe he should just wait and thinking that, he began to daydream for a while.

[Gate In]
As Fili gated into the field, she felt a small smile on her face from seeing all the paper charms and tags. She had seen a post in the BBS about this field, and she was curious about it. She hadn't logged in since R:3 anyway, so it was also a good time to see the new system. So far, from what she could tell, things had vastly improved. She even felt the little droplets of rain falling on her as she stood by the chaos gate, coming as small little vibrations from the controller. Wavering Peninsula drifted across her vision as she began walking, taking in all the sights the field had to offer.
"It's beautiful..." she muttered softly to herself as she walked along, eventually hearing the flowing of a stream and the creak of wood. Looking towards the source, she saw another player sitting on a bridge that crossed a large stream. It normally wasn't her place to approach people, fearing that she may bother them, but she was curious since someone else showed up to appreciate the sight. After all, players wouldn't really come to a peaceful field unless they wanted to relax. So, taking in a mental breath, she walked towards the bridge, going as peacefully and slowly as she could to avoid drawing too much attention.
"A-ah...did you...come to enjoy the field, too?" she gently called out to him, her voice barely above a whisper.

Yea, sounds like that coming from nowhere seemingly. Exactly like... wait, what? Had he just heard something that wasn´t supposed to be here? Wait, no before that, calm down and look around and there he saw her. Quite a beautiful young lady. Pinkish hair and a nice dress. And here he sat, wearing a shirt and pants as if he was a civillian. He was shortly thinking about if he should laugh or cry about that and decided on the middle ground. "Oh, hi there." Yes, a greeting for now. It was definitely on the middle ground and would serve as the purpose of finding out what was going on as well.
After all, he had only heard some whispered words... maybe his sounds output was broken? But the surrounding sound was definitely still quite normal. Maybe there was something else wrong. Couldn´t be his ears, so maybe she had just... talked quite softly? Whatever it was, right now she stood there and looked like a lost lamb, well, he could imagine she looked like that all the time and slightly raised an eyebrow. He was wondering what class she was with that dress, but then again, he had seen heavy blades with bikinis or just a short. There was no real reason this would be any different. And in the end, what counted was on the stat sheet of a character and nothing more.
Putting his legs on the bridge, he sat there with crossed legs and waited for a response, this way he wouldn´t have to bend over all the time. But really seeing her now, he should have gotten a make over with his char and gotten cooler clothes.

Perhaps he didn't hear her words? It wouldn't be too hard to imagine; a lot of people didn't hear Fili when she spoke from a distance. However, he didn't respond with something rude like 'whadja say?!', but simply greeted her. That was nice. The fact that this person came here, as well as simply greeting her, probably meant he was a good-natured person. So, carefully approaching the bridge, she began walking towards him, but she tried to make sure there was a good five feet or so between them so it wouldn't seem too forceful.
"My name is Fili....Fili the White, it's a pleasure to meet you," she said in her same quiet voice, giving a small bow, the slightly glowing sheet rock around her not falling out of place at all as she did so. She had the small smile still on her face, since so far today was turning out to be a pretty good day.
"So, did you...come here to enjoy the field too?" Fili asked as her head turned to look at the river. The World truly was improving with time, truly becoming like a second reality, and she enjoyed that. The World allowed her to feel useful, so she spent much of her time here, whether she was simply enjoying the scenery or helping some adventuring group. She always seemed to find something here that she enjoyed, or at least felt that she enjoyed.

Wow, he had rarely seen a girl like this. Or someone who acted like this. She looked as if she would try to escape if he should make so much as a fast move. She looked like a fearful rabbit as she stood there, carefully keeping away from him. Raising his eyebrow by just a hundredth of a millimeter, he wondered what kind of thing e should do now and if she would shy away if he would open his mouth...
"No please, it is my pleasure meeting you in this field. It is quite beautiful, right?" Shiel slowly moved his hand to the side where a branch was hanging quite low and stroked above a paper strip on which a child seemed to have written something, but in a language, Shiel couldn´t understand at all. Maybe it was a slang of sort? Gently he pulled his hand back over the branch and wondered when he ever had felt this kind of sensation... it was really like a tree, but then not really, after all, he had never touched bamboo before. This was awesome.
"So, you heard about this on the BBS too? Or do you come here frequently?" It was kind of a weird question, but not many player would come to a field like this where they couldn´t even really do anything frequently. But really, the field itself was quite beautiful. Only miss was Shiel himself with his red hair, he stood out so much in this field that one could say he was eager to get noticed. Even though he wasn´t really trying at all.

The boy was polite as well, as he responded in kind to her, and he also had a good appreciation for the field. There weren't that many who would simply enjoy a field for it's beauty, and she hadn't really met any like that. This boy was really nice, in her eyes. He was a rare sort of person, who could just enjoy a field for how it looked and how wonderful it was rather than what monsters it had or what level it was. Fili felt like she could get along with this person.
"I heard about this one on the BBS....but I frequent fields like this a lot," she began reading some of the tags hanging from the trees in her head as she looked around the field. Many of them were for true love, some for money, some to simply be able to 'continue playing The World', but all of them were for simple desires really. Nobody made complex wishes, because wishes were, at their base, a fulfillment of an unfulfilled, basic desire.
"I like to appreciate the beauty of this world...people work so hard to make it, it almost...feels like a waste if we simply run around ignoring it for the sake of killing monsters..."

Ah, so she was one of them... Shiel started to smile softly as he heard her talk about the world. It was not so much her words though that made him understand how she felt, but how she looked around and looked as if she was enjoying herself. And even though he had a fifferent kind of look when he was looking around, he could understand how she was feeling right now.
"I would really like to see these other fields some time." His smile widened a little as he looked back to Fili. "Maybe you could show me some time?" Shiel said with an anticipating voice. He didn´t really care about how beautiful a field was, but for a change in pace, things like these were not so bad after all. And if he could come closer to another player in the process... all the better. "Say, why not sit down?" He pointed at the bridge. "From here you can see much clearer and you can even see the fireflies on the other side of the river quite well." Or what could be fireflies, who knew in a fantasy world?
"But you are certainly right, things are created to be appreciated, however small and fragile they may be." Had he just made a small reference to how lost Fili looked like? Maybe. "Not only things created by men, the real unruly world as well."

Fili had begun moving to cover her mouth as she realized she had been rambling, feeling like she may have bothered her newfound companion. She wasn't sure what had come over her; she normally didn't speak as much as that, and kept quiet. Was it this field, which she found to just be a land of miracles, that got her to spoke? Perhaps, but she felt like she may have annoyed the boy before he responded to her. He...actually wanted to see more peaceful fields like this? With her? That was a strange response.
"A-ah, yes, t-thank you..." she answered, both to his question about the fields and his offer for her to sit down. Taking a seat on the bridge a few feet from the boy, she gazed towards where he mentioned the fireflies were, finding it to just be a beautiful thing to watch. Fireflies weren't a 'new' addition, as she had encountered them before in some other fields, but it was the setting that made them better. It added an...authentic feel to the field, making it seem like a true bamboo forest on the night of Tanabata.
Fili only nodded as he continued to talk about how things should be appreciated, folding her hands in her lap. They were alike in that respect, though she had to disagree about everything. Some things were made without needing respect, like herself. She'd keep quiet about that thought though; there was no reason to burden him with something like that.
